God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of king and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light .. ( 1 Timothy 6:15~16)
Therefore only God can give us eternal life. The Passover is promise of eternal life that God give us.
John 6.53-54 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
Jesus has promised to us eaten bread at the Passover as flesh of Jesus and drinking wine at the Passover as blood of Jesus.( Mattew 26:19~28)
Those who keep the Passover according to the words of Jesus " Live forever when you eat and drink " will receive the blessing of eternal life.
In contrast, if those who do not keep the Passover, can not get eternal life.
World Mission Society Church of God keep the new covenant Passover and believe that Jesus' promise of eternal life.
